This Shipping & Digital Delivery Policy explains how products are delivered through the Gig Workers Tax Guide website. We offer both digital downloads and physical print-on-demand books.

1. Digital Product Delivery

Gig Workers Tax Guide sells digital educational products including downloadable PDFs, worksheets, templates, spreadsheets, and related materials. Digital products are delivered electronically immediately after payment confirmation, typically within minutes.

2. Download Access

Customers receive:

       On-screen download access after checkout

       Order confirmation email containing download links

       Access through their customer account when applicable

3. Digital Delivery Timing

Digital products are generally delivered within minutes. Delivery may be delayed due to payment processing review, internet connectivity issues, email provider filtering, or Shopify technical interruptions.

4. Email Delivery Issues

Customers should check spam, junk, promotions, or filtered email folders if download emails are not immediately visible.

5. File Access Problems

If you experience difficulty downloading or opening files, contact support for assistance before requesting a refund. Most technical delivery issues can be resolved.

6. Physical Books (Print-on-Demand)

The Gig Workers Tax Guide print edition is offered as a spiral-bound, 8.5" x 11" softcover book produced on demand through our print-on-demand fulfillment partner, Lulu. Books are printed individually after each order is placed.

7. Order Processing Time

Print-on-demand books typically require:

       Production time: 3-5 business days for printing and quality check

       Shipping time: varies by destination and shipping method selected at checkout

Orders placed on weekends or U.S. federal holidays begin processing the next business day.

8. Estimated Delivery Times

Total delivery time (production + shipping) is estimated as follows:

       United States: 7-14 business days (Standard); 5-9 business days (Expedited)

       Canada: 10-18 business days

       United Kingdom & Europe: 10-21 business days

       Australia & New Zealand: 14-25 business days

       Rest of world: 14-30 business days

These are estimates and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times depend on the shipping option selected, destination, carrier performance, customs processing, and external conditions.

9. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and the shipping method selected. The applicable rate will be displayed before payment is completed.

10. Order Tracking

Once a print order ships, customers will receive a tracking number by email. Tracking visibility and update frequency may vary by carrier and destination.

11. Shipping Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and email information at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or returned packages caused by incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable customer information. Re-shipping due to customer address errors may require an additional shipping fee.

12. International Orders, Customs & Duties

We ship internationally through our print-on-demand partner. International customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country or local authorities. These fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are collected by the carrier or customs authority at the time of delivery.

13. Lost or Delayed Shipments

We are not responsible for carrier-related delays once physical packages have been transferred to the shipping provider. If a package appears lost, contact support and we will provide reasonable assistance, including investigation through our fulfillment partner. Claims for lost packages must be reported within 30 days of the expected delivery date.

14. Damaged or Defective Items

If a print book arrives damaged, defective, or incorrectly produced, contact support within 14 days of delivery with photographs of the issue and packaging. Eligible orders may qualify for a replacement or refund as outlined in our Refund & Return Policy.

15. Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to most countries served by our print-on-demand fulfillment partner. Some destinations may be excluded due to carrier restrictions, sanctions, or other limitations. If your destination cannot be served, you will be notified at checkout or shortly after order placement.
